From Cottons to Uppers: Jordan Kudla
So after the Pismo Beach WSA contest I finally met Jordan Kudla at Cottons and Uppers. I basically spent my 10/27/11 to 10/28/11 days with with Jordan and his family. I have to say they are amazing people! Jordan's mother are just super nice and not to mention her cooking (Thanks for dinner and breakfast <3). His dad are just as amazing as his mother. Anyway, Jordan Kudla started his surfing career at the age of 7, however, got bitten by the skate bugs and left surfing for skating. Nevertheless, the surf fluid still live within Jordan as he reenter the world of water at the age of 13. Now at the age of 15, Jordan become rider of Fox and Cobian, also compete in WSA. In 2007, he won the WSA session; through my lens I see a rising grom with great potential in the future. Surfers that he look up to are Taj Burrow, Dane Reynolds, and Joel Parkinson. Over the past few hours I have learned that Jordan also like to snowboard and mountain bike. I had fun shooting video clips and taking picture of him. When Jordan is in the water he shows the stoke and love for the sport. I would say that Jordan is one of my favorite surfer, I met at Uppers. He's attitude and personality has drawn my attention to him. Thanks you Jordan for the allowing me to be able to take picture of you surfing! I look forward to shooting the documentary with you!
